Water
This ranch is extremely blessed with amazing water! Doaksville Creek is the main tributary that flows through the ranch for approximately 1.35 miles yielding 2.7 miles of frontage when you include both sides. Additionally, there are nine unnamed seasonal creeks that meander throughout the ranch totaling an amazing 4.25 +/- miles. Many of these pool water all year long providing easy water sources for the abundant wildlife population that resides on the ranch. The lake is currently being managed for large mouth bass with a healthy supply of baitfish to support. Additionally, there are 8 ponds scattered around the ranch for watering cows or other livestock.
Wildlife
This ranch has a healthy, whitetail deer herd that is fed year round with 3 free-choice bulk protein feeders along with several seasonal food plots that are planted. Approximately 10 corn feeds and 6 rifle blinds are strategically placed to take advantage of travel corridors and other proven areas. One thing is certain, each blind is in a picturesque setting and is a joy to hunt for deer or hogs during the fall, or just to observe and photograph nature in all its glory. If you are an avid Turkey hunter, you will be pleasantly surprised with the number of Eastern Turkeys that roost along the seasonal creeks, draws and ridges. Likewise, if you enjoy big game hunting year round, you will be busy with the volume of wild hogs. Plenty of dormant pastures could easily be reclaimed into fruitful dove fields for early fall wing-shooting. And, if you are a waterfowl enthusiast, you will have plenty of places to create blinds for calling ducks and occasionally geese.
