Sandfield Point, located at 4389 Highway 165, sits on the western edge of beautiful Yonges Island, a low-density natural preserve based in the historic town of Meggett. Two different bodies of water influence its landscape and provide over 4,000 feet of frontage, great wildlife sighting, pristine scenery and ample recreational opportunities. The land includes 103 total acres, 55 acres of highland and 47 acres of tidal marshland and lake.

The northwest side of Sandfield Point faces Flounder Lake, one of the largest saltwater impoundments in Charleston County. Kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and saltwater fishing make up some of the most popular activities on the lake. Flounder Lake provides habitat for mass numbers of bass, trout and flounder.
