The wildlife in the area includes huntable populations white-tailed deer and feral hogs, occasional mule deer, bobwhite quail, dove, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, and various small mammals, songbirds, and other native critters. The ranch has been leased for hunting to a responsible group from Lubbock who have taken some respectable deer over the last decade.
