Here it is, a hard to find small hunting tract of land that is literally loaded with deer and pheasant. Located just SW of Bertha in Zone 240, this area is known for its deer numbers but the pheasant population is on the rise and by the numbers of pheasants my dog flushed on our short walk I'd say that is pretty dang accurate. The dog flushed 8 hens and 2 roosters. It's easy to see why this property holds them. It is literally sandwiched between ag land fields and has some of the best cover deer and pheasant could ask for. It's made up of tall grasses, dry willows, and has a water ditch running through the middle of the property. The deer sign was thick with nearly every little sapling rubbed and trails galore. It looked like a spiderweb of trails. Be sure to check out the drone shots to see the trails! Long story short this is a property that is not aesthetically pleasing but offers up excellent deer and pheasant hunting and that's a dang good combo! So if you are looking for a last-minute property in a hot area that won't break the bank come take a look at this before it's gone.
