WATER: Crooked Roads Ranch has a staggering 1.25 +/- miles of live-water along Cowhouse Creek. This limestone-lined creek was named after the natural shelters formed by limestone bluffs along its banks and is the primary water source feeding into Lake Belton. There are pockets along the creek on Crooked Roads Ranch that are up to 15-20 feet deep including the infamous Mill Hole that has reportedly never gone dry. WILDLIFE: Crooked Roads Ranch is loaded with wildlife. Whitetail deer, turkey, dove, and pigs are plentiful. Waterfowl hunting on the creek can be good at times as well. Cowhouse creek is teeming with largemouth bass, catfish, and perch in the deeper stretches of water.
