North Ranch: The 1,400.24 acre Ranch was planted to the following Almond varieties; Nonpareil, Monterey, Carmel, Wood Colony, Fritz, Butte and Padre in 2006. The property has been well maintained and is conveniently located off of a main thoroughfare, Avenue 15. The Ranch is irrigated by 5 interconnected pumps and wells (see irrigation map). There are two 4-acre Solar Farm sites. At peak production the farm power grid produces 2.2 megawatts which has offset the ranch electrical use of the pumping plants.
