The forest on this property is typical of the central Post Oak Savannah region. Oak, elm, sweet gum and ash are found in the low lying areas along Clear Creek. Upland hardwoods and pine are found throughout the higher sandy ground. The soils primarily consist of Pickton fine sandy loam and some Tonkawa fine sand.
