Chapman Farm

The Chapman Farm consists of 240 deeded acres with 146 acres of water rights and is located approximately one mile north of Newell, South Dakota. Historically the farm has been planted to grass and utilized for rotational grazing for cow/calf pairs and hay production. The Chapman Farm is fully fenced with four pastures along with two tire tanks, two automatic Behlen waterers and Dry Creek running through the southwest boundary of the property. Improvements include a farmhouse built in 1918 with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, which is in need of improvement, 12 X 48 livestock pole building, and a 40 X 80 shop with partial concrete. Water is supplied via Butte Meade Water.
