This property is still one of my favorite wetland design. The owner at the time decided to design it above and beyond what most developers do. For starters, it is a three cell system that covers roughly 10 acres. The cells flood and empty through gravity from a nearby 35 acre lake. The system features thousands of feet of subsurface tile assuring that all of the wetlands stay dry for planting. Then to top it off, we ran power to each wetland cell so we could run ice eaters and extend our season. This project cost in excess of $100,00 and we have had zero problems with it the last 4 or 5 years. It has truly been exceptional waterfowl project.

The income on this property is excellent as well with approximately 50 acres of reclaimed strip mine tillable. It also provides the opportunity for some great field hunting opportunities for geese and mallards as well.
