Welcome to the Canada Bonita Ranch, an affordable and well cared for Cattle, Hunting and Recreational Ranch. Located in eastern New Mexico within Guadalupe County. Access to the ranch is paved, via State Hwy 219 just west of Santa Rosa, NM. Elevation ranges from 5100'-5500'. Topography varies from rimrock outcroppings to rolling cedar and juniper hill country. The Canada Bonita Ranch consists of 2804 total acres (2164 deeded acres and a 640 acre New Mexico State Lease). Roads within the ranch are improved dirt and two track trails.

Wildlife found within the ranch ( NM Game Unit 39) consist of Mule Deer, Antelope, Bear, Mt Lion and occasionally Elk and Barbary Sheep are spotted. Private Landowner Mule Deer permits are over the counter. There are two bow/mule deer seasons, September and January as well as muzzle loader and rifle hunts in the fall. Unit 39 is not currently designated for scheduled Elk hunts, public or private land.
Amarillo, TX. is approximately 2 1/2 hours to the east, Lubbock, TX is 3.5 hrs. southeast and Albuquerque, NM is about 1.5 hours to the west via Interstate 40. Goods and services can be found within the city of Santa Rosa, NM 15 minutes to the east.
