Tract 1 of this ranch is a great tract for hunting and/or running cattle. The quality of grass under the highline clearing shows the quality of the soil if the cedars were cleared. However, for the wildlife, the cedars do provide cool bedding areas in the summer and a thermal cover in the winter. The amount of grass available in the cedars might surprise you, but no doubt some clearing would create tons of good pasture. There are three ponds and seasonal creeks.
