517 acres, more or less north of Matador, Texas on the North Pease River, is a hunter's paradise. The upland country has a good roll to it with a few draws and on the north end the topography takes off down the hill to the river. You have the best of both worlds hunting the Burgess ranch.

Brush species include mesquite, cedar, hackberry, lotebush, and sandsage. The composition of the native grasses is good. A 20 acre food plot is in place for wildlife to travel from the river bottom to the edge of the upland part of the ranch without detection.

The water well on the south end and the river on the north end of the ranch are the sources of water. There is electricity in place with two RV sites, septic tank and 50 amp plug. The perimeter fences and cross fences are in excellent condition.
