This farm is part of one of the largest Black Prairie farms in Mississippi. It contains roughly 610 acres of fertile cropland in Long Creek bottom, 175 acres of rich pasture on higher elevation east and west of the creek bottom, and 80 acres of woodland.Six ponds provide plenty of water. A concrete crossing provides access across the creek. Additional leased property adjacent to the farm could be available for cultivation. A large barn and side shed in the east pasture have room for plenty of hay or equipment. The farm has access from CR 406 and nearly a half mile of frontage on CR 165. The view from CR 165 to the east across the pasture and Long Creek is one of the prettiest views in the state and a great place for a home site. An additional 175 acres of mixed woods and fields on the West side of CR 165 is also available for purchase. The farm is only minutes from Okolona, Houston, and West Point. The Tombigbee National Forest and Natchez Trace Parkway are only a few miles away.
