Parcel 1 includes a gorgeous custom- built, all brick home with 3,016 sqft on the main floor, and an additional 1,380 sqft in the basement, for a total of 4,396 sqft of finished living space. It has an 896 sqft, two-stall attached garage. It also has a 48 x 44 x 12 detached utility building with three stalls that is fully insulated and heated. The home and utility building are seated on approximately 7.5 acres, included as part of Parcel 1.
The home features a spacious open floor plan. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are all part of an open Great Room. An enormous, 3-slab custom granite island provides ample dining and work space. The pantry is a large, walk-in style pantry, and the appliances are all stainless steel. Beautiful knotty hickory cabinets complement the knotty alder trim and solid doors throughout the home. The kitchen, laundry, and master bedroom suite are located on the main floor. The living room features a beautiful stone fireplace. The master bedroom has a fireplace and solid alder french doors. The master bath features a large air tub and a dual sink vanity. The shower is a wonder to behold…. It is a large, walk-in shower with a bench, and five (FIVE!) shower heads with custom controls on the pressure of the shower heads and temperature settings. Each member of the household can customize settings for their own preferences. The master bath has a walk-in closet larger than most homes' bedrooms, which opens into the laundry room. A thoughtfully designed "mudroom" off the garage also opens into the laundry area, with custom built benches, "locker" style cabinets and coat hooks.
The fully finished basement features two bedrooms, a full bath, utility/mechanical room and storage room, and a large Rec room. This home has a wonderful floor plan and is open and airy while still feeling cozy and comfortable. Quality craftsmanship is evident at every turn, and only the best materials, fixtures, and finishes were used. The home is an addition/renovation to a previous farm house, but the renovation was so extensive and complete that the home can be considered all new construction, completed in 2013. All wiring, plumbing, and framing are new; All that was retained of the old structure was the foundation.
The exterior of the home has a poured slab, textured and stained walk up and front porch. The raised back porch features the same stained and textured poured slab concrete, with a surrounding low brick mason wall. A brick fire pit provides a cozy gathering place to enjoy the lovely sunset views. Landscaping was designed for easy maintenance and crisp lines, with attractive large river rock providing a wide apron around the foundation, and forming a dry bed along the north property line to ensure proper drainage from the mildly sloping field and tree line. The large lawn is watered with underground sprinklers. The entire home and grounds were designed with obvious care, attention to detail, and the finest workmanship.
Parcel 2:
Parcel 2 consists of a 50' x 100' x 16' steel building with four bay doors measuring 12' x 14'. It is fully insulated and heated and immaculately maintained. In truth, all shops have been swept and mopped every week since completion in 2013. This large shop has an easement from the driveway that opens onto HWY 26. This shop would make an excellent commercial building for a business, a great "hobby shop", or a great storage facility for boats, motor homes, classic cars and other past times requiring ample, heated, CLEAN space! This 7.5 acre lot has HWY 26 frontage for easy accessibility and visibility for highway traffic.
Parcel 3:
Parcel 3 consists of an approximately 14.5 acre, unimproved building site. The natural topography of the land is such that this piece of ground sits higher that the home site in Parcel 1, providing even better views in all directions for a potential home. An easement off the highway driveway provides access to this parcel. This would make a spectacular site for a new home, or it could simply provide a buffer for the buyer of Parcel 1 or Parcel 2 to prevent a neighbor building closer than they would prefer on the east.
Parcel 4:
Parcel 4 consists of a partially insulated and heated 48' x 200' shop on approximately 21 acres with Hwy 385 frontage. This building has served as the main business location for Scotts Pump Service, and would serve a multitude of commercial uses. It features 2 - 20' sliding doors open on the east and west ends of the building, and one 12' sliding door on the south side with 2 – 14w’ x 12’h. The east end of the building is paved has concrete, insulated and heated. The west end of the building is unpaved and un-insulated, appropriate for storage of large vehicles, implements and equipment. A fantastic opportunity for a business needing Hwy frontage and great visibility!
Parcel 5:
Parcel five consists of approximately 123.33 acres of unimproved grassland with Hwy 385 access and visibility. It also has frontage to the railroad tracks on the south property boundary. This tract of land would make a good expansion site for a business interested in Parcel 4, a solid commercial building site, or it could simply be planted to hay and mowed. There is good fencing around the majority of it, with a little fence work this land could be used for grazing.
