The ranch is located on the Crow Indian Reservation, but all of the ranch land is deeded and does not rely upon any direct tribal leases to operate the ranch unit.
The owners of this ranch have a private lease of about 3900 acres that they have been operating on in
conjunction with their deeded land. This lease land is about two miles south of the west end of their deeded land. They have had this lease for 15 yearsit has been in lease terms of 5-year increments, and it will
terminate in the fall of 2021. A buyer may be able to secure this lease upon the purchase of the Snively Ranch. Snivelys and Trevor Bogunovich will supply a buyer with the names and information of the leases which can be negotiated directly with the owners on any future lease arrangements. The sellers are not ensuring in any way that this private lease will be available to a buyer. There has been no monetary value attached to the lease land in determining the purchase price of the Snively Ranch.
The Snively Ranch is offered as a turn-key operation with the purchase price including 250 head of cows with calves at side and 15 bulls plus a complete line of machinery and the approximately 3648 acres of
deeded land.
The cows are quality black Angus. The sellers have always purchased their bulls from the Vermillion Ranch, so the cattle are progeny of one of the great Angus breeding programs in America.
