This bottomland tract will steadily increase in value as the hardwoods grow and good hunting land becomes scarce. The headwaters of the Big Black River are not far north of the property and the river meanders from North to South right through it. Much of the timber had to be salvaged due to tornado damage several years ago. However, some areas are still covered in open timber. It is evident that the soils will produce high quality timber and the habitat will produce deer and turkeys. Located on a paved state highway only 2.5 miles north of Mathiston and only 19 miles from Starkville, access is easy and convenient. Contact the agent for more information or a showing.
