This productive 215 acre Willamette Valley farm is adjacent to a small vineyard to the north and the larger Benton Lane Winery to the south. There are approximately 110-113 acres considered ideally suitable for planting a quality Pinot Noir vineyard. The farm is located within the proposed Lower Long Tom American Viticulture Area (AVA). The Lower Long Tom is protected from wind by Prairie Mountain and enjoys a micro-climate with higher temperatures as a result, according to their application. If established by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TBB), the Lower Long Tom AVA will be the most southerly of the Willamette Valley sub-AVA's, convenient to Eugene and Corvallis.
