Fencing & Gates

The entirety of the ranches boundary is fenced. There are also many cross fences creating multiple pastures so you are able to rotate your livestock throughout the year. There are additional gates providing access to Boy Scout Rd. as you continue north along the western property line.

Topography

Ashe-Kessinger Ranch has over 220' of elevation change on the ranch. Approximately half of the ranch is located on the "high ground" making that portion of the ranch great for grazing. There are multiple draws running down to the lake providing tons of cover for all the wildlife. There are a mixture of post oaks, live oaks, and mesquites throughout the ranch.

Wildlife

There is a wide variety of wildlife on the property which results in phenomenal hunting opportunities. With all of the water and coverage, the HJK Ranch provides an oasis for Whitetail deer, ducks, dove, and Rio Grande turkey. Predator hunting on the ranch includes feral hogs, coyotes, and bobcats.

- WATER -

There are 10 ponds scattered throughout the ranch providing water for your livestock and wildlife. There is also over a mile of shoreline on Lake Bridgeport. The home is currently being supplied water from a well located on the neighbors property. The current seller is bringing city water to the home from CR 1705 before closing to give the new owners city water access.
