If you are daydreaming about having a great place to escape to with beautiful mountain views, rolling creeks, super cool “off-grid” cabins, and excellent hunting bordering national forest, then you have found it! This piece of Ozark Mountain heaven is located off Highway 16, just a short drive east of Fayetteville, situated down a forest road, and borders the Ozark National Forest on one side. Follow Possum Creek to the property and enter a gate to approach the first rustic cabin. It has a living and kitchen area along with an additional room that could be used for sleeping and bunks. It is a perfect place to get out of the weather. The second cabin is located a little further down the trail. It has a large living and kitchen area and two bedrooms, and an excellent wood-burning stove is the primary heat source, and it will keep it toasty in the winter during the hunting season. Speaking of hunting… The deer, bear, and turkey hunting is superb, as evident by the trail cam and harvest photos from the past few years. Hunt the creek bottoms, one of a few food plot areas, or the wide hardwood benches. There are many excellent natural funnels, pinch points as well as thick bedding areas. Easily access the National Forest for thousands of acres of public hunting and riding as well. The trails connect with the very popular Mill Creek OHV for world-class four-wheeling on side by sides, four-wheelers, and Jeeps. Enjoy lunch, dinner, or get essential groceries at either the Pig Trail Café or Combs café but don’t forget to gas up there as well. This place is truly special.
