This remote (40 Mi from Seward) property is located in a coastal temperate rainforest on Johnstone Bay/Gulf of Alaska. These high quality, beautiful chalets were lovingly built into the existing ecosystem to make the most out of this incredible off-the-grid area for adventure lovers and people who appreciate privacy. Features of these two nearly identical chalets include 2 beds (one is in the loft), 1 bath, a septic, working water and power, Serendipity logs, a heater, fuel tank, full furnishings, beach access & more. Chalets feature a ground level floor plan of ~440 sq ft with a half loft upstairs.

The cookhouse was the original building on the property and is well-built on large sonotubes. The cookhouse has a full kitchen. This property has a fenced in area, storage shed, fuel tank, electric, wood-fired hot tub, etc (sales does not include excavator, mill, ATVs, etc).

Though there is no water frontage at the chalet, it is a short walk to the black sand beach on Johnstone Bay or the glacially fed lakes in the area.

This property is perfectly comfortable for a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located within the forest, surrounded by trees, thick carpets of moss, and wild berries, the sights, sounds and scents are at once tranquil and invigorating.

Access to the property is mostly by float plane or helicopter. Though Johnstone Bay is accessible by water, it is exposed to the Gulf of Alaska and is more challenging for loading and unloading so most visits are done via float plane or helicopter.

Potential buyers are responsible for proof of funds or financing prior to viewing property. They are also responsible for paying and arranging for their own transportation to the property.
