The Cross Fire Ranch consists of approximately 1,100 acres in three parcels.  The lush Bermuda Grass pastures with sandy loam soils currently carry 350 momma cows but could easily handle more with proper management. The 24 ponds and the 39 acre lake provide more than adequate source water for livestock, and the irrigation system that is setup throughout the property.  The current owner is also harvesting hay and silage to be used in the other entities as forage and food supplements.  Lake irrigation is provided to 90 acres of corn and high protein alfalfa crops with two circle and several inline irrigation systems.  A beautiful, custom 3,100 sq. ft. home features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, landscaped yard, and is sited with views of the lake.

Cross Fire Indoor Arena is located on the Cross Fire Ranch.  This 296’ x 160’ arena has been known to host bull fighting, dog trials, team roping, bull dogging, and other rodeo events. Much thought has been put into this arena with horse stalls, wash bay, tack room, corrals and paddocks, announcer’s booth with a little kitchenette, commercial kitchen and concession booth.   The red dirt arena has an electronic chute release system.  There is also a 265’ x 60’ lean-to shed connected to the arena for animal events, fairs and shows.

80 acres of this ranch has been used as a feedlot.  The feedlot has environmentally sound drainage with no waste drainage pits.  The natural drainage supplements the grass nutrition and is set up to hold and feed 1,000 head of livestock.

The Sod Farm consist of an additional 1,035 acres of which 580 acres are currently being used for sod.  The balance of the 1,035 can be used to expand.  Seven miles of underground irrigation pipe pulls permitted water directly from the Red River to the 1,035 acres.  It is currently producing economically $15,000-$18,000 a day of Bermuda sod with the primary market being the Texas growth corridor from Dallas/Fort Worth to the Red River.  This includes the Frisco, Denison, Denton, and Sherman growth areas.
