Mass City’s railroad station was a short distance to the south at Mass Station, which was near McKeever Junction, the junction of the Copper Range; Mineral Range; and Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul railroads. This railway runs along the eastern edge of the property being offered for sale, and is currently part of Trail No. 3, a MI-TRALE groomed snowmobile trail system. The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad, still in use, crosses east to west about a quarter mile south of the property. Thousands of feet of the Adventure Creek, which gets its name from the nearby mine, branches through the property from north to south. This creek is a tributary of the East Branch of the Ontonagon River. A 12 mile stretch of the East Branch has been designated as a Michigan Blue Ribbon Trout Stream.
