What a beautiful property! As I pulled up to the gate in the northeast corner, and snuck up over the hilltop to see the vast valley below, I found myself in awe of the scenery. The rocky outcroppings eroded by a thousand rainstorms, along with the golden hues of the native prairie in the setting sun took me back to the time before this country was settled. This property is totally landlocked, so there are no roads for any passing pickups to kick up dust or drown out the whistling meadowlarks. It was just myself with nature, in all its glorious splendor.

The hilltops look like ideal spots to set up hunting blinds overlooking feeders, food plots or the water down below. I did manage to kick up a handful of pheasants on the edge of the property, which is not surprising considering this is one of the top pheasant counties in the state. The big pond had at least twenty ducks on it, and there were also several other groups of ducks in the small water holes along the creek. The way this property lays it would be very easy to sneak up on them.
Access to the property will be from the northeast or southwest along a mile of dirt roads coming in from each direction. The northeast corner features a set of nice metal gates. The southwest corner features a cattle guard, and is used to access the oil tanks and pump in this corner of the property. Mineral rights are not included in this sale. The property is barbwire fenced on all four sides, and the fencing is in fair condition.
