ATI #40 will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at 3:00pm. Located one mile south of Joan and six miles East of Arkadelphia. Terrain is relatively flat. Access is by permission via woods road from the North (Lock on gate can be opened with 5757 combination). All merchantable timber was harvested in 2006 and land is ready to be site-prepped and planted. Boundary lines were re-painted in September 2007. Soils consist of loamy sand and sandy loams with site index for loblolly pine averaging 85 feet on fifty year base. Small creeks cross part of tract. The tract offers excellent hunting/wildlife viewing opportunities.
