If trees could talk, the majestic and stately Live Oak tree located near the north east corner of the house could possibly tell stories of old. Perhaps of the time when the country had very little brush and mostly lush grasses that reached up to the stirrups, or of early bandits or the first settlers to the area, cattle drives, prairie fires, of droughts & floods, of the hot summers and cold blizzards, of the construction of the railroad and highway slightly farther than a stones throw away to the east, or the construction of the community dipping vat to the south, of Indians that once frequented the area as from the spear and arrowheads found near the creek.
Even with its battle scars from Mother Nature over the years, this truly magnificent tree, with its roots deep in the South Texas soil, has stood the test of time and is a sight to behold.

The main house is a 4/2.5 and has a paved drive from the electronic gate to the garage. The guest house with its own separate gate and entrance was built in 1997 and is a 2 bedroom 2 bath house that has 1,120 sq. ft. It is presently occupied by a tenant. There are many beautiful trees along the creek area which serves as a corridor for the wildlife- deer, turkey, hogs, etc., in the area.
1 water well services both houses and supplies water to the pond or old dipping vat.
Most of the property is in a 100 year flood plain- if only the tree could talk.
Owners have no mineral rights to convey.
