This farm is one of the most unique setups I have ever seen. With its extremely private cabin, a very diverse terrain makeup, and being located near a larger town, it has something for everyone. This farm is one of the most unique setups I have ever seen. With its extremely private cabin, a very diverse terrain makeup, and being located near a larger town, it has something for everyone. Through a well-maintained access, you arrive to the property through a gated access near the southeast corner of the farm. At the crest of the driveway to first come to a Cleary brand steel building/shop with concrete floor, power, water, and plenty of storage. This building makes for a great work area, storage for tractor/implements, UTVs/ATVs, hunting gear, etc. Continuing down the driveway you pass an additional small outbuilding for storage on your way to the cabin. At first sight, you can tell this is not your basic small, built to just suffice for a hunting weekend type of cabin. Built by a contractor and featuring a separate scent-free building with electric you can see the craftsmanship and hunter friendly qualities featured in this setup. Featuring two levels, hardwood floors, tongue and groove siding walls and ceilings, custom bar top, and all amenities this ‘cabin’ is a must see. Please take the time to look through the pics as they do more justice to the total set up than words can do. Looking through the pics you will see additional items such as all appliances, full size laundry room, central air/heat, fire place, partial wrap around porch with a view of creek bottom, back porch featuring a fire place, and a porch with an entrance to the upstairs. Moving to the land itself, you find a mix of big timbered draws with a trail system throughout, and a creek bottom with great habitat and food plots in place. The deer history on this farm is pretty impressive. The deer over the fireplace you see in the pics is one the owner chased for a couple years before finding him dead. With those 200’’ genetics running around its easy to see why there are several big heavy horned deer on the wall of this cabin. The timber terrain has several pinches and funnels making for great hunting as the deer browse the acorns dropped by the plethora of white oaks on the farm. The owner has also planted fruit trees as well in the more open areas of the timber. These oaks will make for a great return in the near future should the owner choose to have them harvested. To the east of this timber, you find a creek bottom that runs the entire length of the farm North/South. This provides great habitat for the deer and turkeys while also having open areas that currently have 3 food plots in place. This allows for some great food source and travel corridor hunting while using the creek as both a pinch point and a water source. Several well maintained trails go through the creek bottom as well as the timber making for great access to both areas for hunting of any type or just to enjoy the beautiful landscape. With extreme privacy, diverse terrain make up, tremendous improvements, big deer history, and just a few miles from a large town, there is something for everyone in the makeup of this farm.
