The ranch is rich in historical value. The old Bridger stagecoach route between Bowler & Bridger cuts through the heart of the ranch. Along the trail, faded with time, billboards are painted on rocks advertising Hughes Drugstore & a barbershop. Fossils abound on the Chukar Springs Ranch. Everything from Native American artifacts to dinosaur fossils can be found. The largest Deinonychus was found on the ranch in 1964 by John Ostrum.
Hunting opportunities include pheasant, chukar, hungarian partridge, black bear, antelope, trophy mule deer & an occasional elk.
