The timber consists primarily of a 16 to 18 year old pine plantation over most of the acreage which was first thinned within the past few years. The pine stand has responded well to the thinning operation and is nearing the ability to be second thinned, offering near term income potential to the buyer. This tract is well stocked with quality small pine sawtimber and pine pulpwood trees that offer very good investment potential.

Research Parcel InformationFrom Star City, Take Highway 54 southeast for about 9.2 miles to the "T" intersection with Highway 83. Turn left (North) onto Highway 54 and go about 1.9 miles to Judge Henry Smith Road (also called German Road) on the left. Turn left (North) onto Judge Henry Smith Road (German Rd). Hirt 20 Tract: Go about 2.5 miles to the woods road on left to access the Hirt 20 Tract. Hirt 40 Tract: Go 2.7 miles to the first woods road or 3.5 miles to the second woods road on the left, both accessing the Hirt 40 Tract. All roads are marked with pink KFS flagging. Both tracts are well marked with Yellow boundary line paint. The woods roads are indicated on the attached maps and are marked with pink Kingwood Flagging on the ground. These roads have been used for timber cutting and are marked to aid in viewing the property, but are not considered easements to the properties. An ATV is recommended for viewing the properties.
