HISTORY: This ranch has been held by the same family for many years. Prior to their ownership, this property had a history reminiscent of the Wild West in Texas legends. The frontier Coalson Family settled in this area in 1877, on the headwaters of Cedar Creek. Numerous Indian attacks cost him several family members, and eventually forced them out of the area. Artifacts can be found as well as several caves.
