Bosque Canyon Ranch, once part of the storied Powell Ranch, is now an exclusive, yet laid back, "Shared Ranch" community in Northern Bosque County. Just 48 members own a shared interest in this 3,744 acre working cattle and recreational ranch, located at the "Top of the Hill Country" and within 90 miles of the Metroplex. Additionally, each member also owns their own 5 acre homesite where they can build a ranch house getaway that blends seamlessly with the surrounding countryside.
At nearly 6 miles square, Bosque Canyon Ranch has varied topography that includes motts of Live Oaks, thick Cedar Breaks, rolling pastures, canyons and big views. Lakes, creeks and a variety of wildlife are also found throughout the ranch. Bosque Canyon is also just minutes away from Lake Whitney, one of the best recreational and fishing lakes in Texas.

If you don't plan on building right away, you can still enjoy being a member of Bosque Canyon Ranch. Ranch ownership includes the use of a Lodge, nestled on a rise overlooking the ranch, that features a great room, chef's kitchen, an exercise room, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, swimming pool and miles of views best enjoyed from one of the oversized rocking chairs. Four Casita's and the Hamilton House, a restored 3 bedroom/ 3 bath original ranch house, are available for overnight stays to check out the beautiful sunsets and spectacular stars. The Hamilton House also features a Cowboy Pool, an original, restored stock tank next to a old windmill...a perfect place to be lazy on a hot, summer day!
Sportsmen and Horse folks will feel right at home at Bosque Canyon. With 18 blinds and feeders and and ample deer, turkey, pigs and dove, there's something for just about every hunter. The two larger lakes are stocked with Bass and other fish and are perfect for the serious angler or for just fishing with the grandkids. There's also a professional grade Skeet Range and a Rifle Range, as well. For the equestrian, the ranch features a community barn and ranch owned horses that members can enjoy. Best of all, you can just come out and enjoy your ranch, knowing that an experienced ranch manager is taking care of all the details. If you prefer, you can also build a barn and keep horses on your own lot, as well.
If you've wanted to own a ranch but haven't wanted to deal with everything that goes into it, Bosque Canyon might be the place for you!
