We grow ‘em big around here! Our management practices and food sources pay off with superior deer hunting for the members here at Little Creek. Owners may harvest one buck and two does each season per lot. Our ratio is extremely good; almost 1 buck to 1.3 does according to a 2013 University of Georgia survey. Choose from over 50 deer stands ranging from single ladder stands to 25-foot tower stands. Of course, individual climbers are always welcome to find that perfect spot somewhere on our 1800 managed acres, including over 30 acres of food plots which are fertilized and planted each season. We are excited about the recent installation of two grain silos, enabling us to purchase in bulk and provide what we consider to be the best feeding program in the state. Our deer agree! We use an average of 40,000 pounds of corn and 30,000 pounds of high protein feed each year in addition to mineral blocks.
Turkey Hunting
It’s not a secret anymore. Our Little Creek turkey hunters have been reaping the benefits of our prolific turkey population. Each lot is allowed two gobblers per season, which must have at least 7-inch beards or greater.
Quail and Dove Hunting
For our quail hunters, habitat areas are maintained to support and promote bird reproduction and retention. In addition, there are two dog pens available anytime for your bird dogs. Dove fields are planted each year for the enjoyment of our owners.
Equestrian
What a place to keep and ride your horse! Little Creek offers an idyllic equestrian situation for its owners and their horses. The equestrian facilities include seven Bermuda grass pastures surrounded by a hot-wired wooden fence. The newly renovated four-stall barn has two tack rooms with individual cedar compartments to store your tack and equestrian supplies, a concrete wash rack with hot and cold water, and feed room with a refrigerator to store medicine and supplements.
Our happy horses enjoy automatic waterers, heated water buckets in winter, separate covered feeding stalls and are free fed hay from covered hay bins or hay huts. The pastures are cut and dragged as needed and fly predators are added for fly control. The riding trails are groomed and cut semi-monthly and consist of over 30 miles of scenic trails in both Little Creek I and Little Creek II, taking you through some of the prettiest countrysides Georgia has to offer. The horses are grain fed twice daily during the week by the Plantation Manager. The horse owners of Little Creek alternate weekend feedings. The only cost of keeping horses at Little Creek is the feed, hay and any vet expenses. All horses are required to be up to date on shots, regularly dewormed, fecal tested and have negative Coggins. Owners are limited to 2 horses per lot owned. No stallions are allowed on Little Creek property at any time.

With three bedrooms and two full baths, it sleeps seven. Other amenities include satellite TV, a roll top desk, updated kitchen, washer/dryer, two dog kennels, grill, and a rocking chair front porch. The Pond Cabin overlooks a stocked pond and offers a quaint little get away. It has one bedroom and a sofa sleeper, sleeping up to five. You can reminisce over the day’s activities as you cook at the outdoor grills or relax around a roaring fire in the stone fire pits located at each of the lodging facilities. The owners of Little Creek, at no additional cost, can enjoy one week per year in each of these three facilities plus additional days available by a short notice reservation when the facilities are not already booked. Our online reservation system allows owners to view lodging availability and make their own reservations. Also available for use by owners is the Summer Kitchen. Located adjacent to the Lodge, the Summer Kitchen offers an over-sized outdoor oak dining table, charcoal grills, an antique gas stove, triple stainless sinks, a weather station, and a full bathroom. In addition to the three lodging options, Little Creek also offers several other amenities for its owners. The skeet, rifle, pistol and archery range includes a covered pavilion area and a fire pit for entertaining your guests. For the wing hunter, there are the two dog runs located at the Little Lodge.
