The Caney North and Caney South Tracts will be offered by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, August 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Bids may be submitted for either or both tracts.
Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. has been authorized to manage the sale of two adjoining timberland tracts containing 80 + 80 acres, more or less, in Hot Spring County, Arkansas. Bids may be submitted for either or both tracts.
Location: The Caney North (Listing #4782) and Caney South (Listing #4783) Tracts are located about eight (8) miles north of Caddo Valley and Interstate 30. Tracts are close to DeGray Lake and in Bismarck School District.

Timber on both tracts consists of mature native pine and hardwood. Site index, for both tracts, for loblolly pine (base age 50) averages eighty (80) feet on fine sandy loam soils. Access to both tracts is via woods roads across adjacent timberland. Terrain is gently rolling. These properties offer immediate timber income potential and recreational opportunities.
Merchantable Timber: Kingwood Forestry conducted inventories of merchantable timber (one plot / acre with cruise lines running east-west) February and April, 2020. Based on inventories, estimated tree counts, and timber volumes are as follows:
