Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. has been authorized to manage the sale of 160 acres, more or less, of timberland in Clark County, Arkansas.
Location: The Sticky Road Tract is located three (3) miles northwest of Gurdon and is described as E of E, Section 25, Township 9 South, Range 21 West, containing 160 acres, more or less, Clark County, Arkansas (see attached maps).
Tract Description: Timber consists of 47 acres of mature native pine sawtimber, 44 acres of 1993 pine plantation (ready for 2nd thinning), 17 acres of native hardwood and pine in Streamside Management Zone, and 47 acres of premerchantable 2008 pine plantation. Tract Description: Timber consists of 47 acres of mature native pine sawtimber, 44 acres of 1993 pine plantation (ready for 2nd thinning), 17 acres of native hardwood and pine in Streamside Management Zone, and 47 acres of premerchantable 2008 pine plantation. Two small ponds and powerline right-of-way provide excellent wildlife habitat. Access is via woods road through approximately 200 of adjacent timberland from State Highway 182 (Sticky Road). Site index for loblolly pine averages eighty-four (84) feet (base age 50) on silty clay loam, silt loam, and fine sandy loam soils. Terrain is flat to gently rolling. Utilities are available at highway. Tract offers immediate timber income, excellent hunting, and site for hunting cabin or home.
Merchantable Timber: Kingwood Forestry conducted an inventory of merchantable timber (point/plot lines running east and west) on 108 acres in March, 2017. Based on the inventory, estimated tree counts and timber volumes on 108 acres of merchantable timber are as follows:

Gum & Misc. Sawtimber: 63 Trees; 5,219 BF; 42 Tons
Pine Pulpwood: 3,442 Trees; 975 Tons
Hardwood Pulpwood: 2,484 Trees; 570 Tons
Due to variations in cruising methods, utilization standards and scaling practices, tree counts and volume estimates cannot be guaranteed. Volume reports in Tons and Board Feet are included. Method of Sale: The tract will be sold based on lump sum sealed bids. An offer form is attached. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2017. Mailed offers should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 with Sticky Road Tract Land Sale" clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the offer. On mailed offers, please call our office prior to bid opening to confirm receipt of offer. Completed offer forms may also be delivered by fax to 870-246-3341 or e-mailed. All faxed / e-mailed offers will be immediately acknowledged. Please await confirmation that your faxed / e-mailed offer has been received. No verbal telephone offers will be accepted.
