Loyal Valley Ranch has two water wells. One newer solar well in NW corner of the ranch and one strong windmill well located in the center of the property on the highest part of the ranch. Great location to build a home. Electricity is obtainable nearby. Several seasonal creeks meander through the ranch to provide great water features about 8 to 9 months of the year. Cold Spring Creek traverses the northeast portion of the ranch. The large pond in the center of the ranch traps the runoff from the elevated areas and provides a great water source and natural habitat for wildlife. Great potential to build low water dams throughout the ranch that could enhance the current water features. Natural wetlands occur throughout the ranch.

Wildlife

Abundant wildlife including well managed whitetail deer population. Owner has run a trophy whitetail guided hunt business on this ranch and the surrounding family-owned ranch for decades. Outstanding whitetail deer, turkey, quail, dove, and some hogs. This ranch is a wildlife sanctuary with outstanding wildlife habitat throughout.

Improvements

Completely perimeter fenced with a fenced livestock trap and pens at the windmill location in the center of the ranch. Good set of working pens are built from old guardrail and very strong. Strong windmill well and newer solar well for livestock and wildlife watering. A good road system is in place with many other trails to access all parts of the ranch. New deeded easement access road is soon under construction that will allow for quicker access into the ranch. Current deeded easement available until completion. History

Settled by German immigrants from the Fredericksburg area about 1858, Loyal Valley, Texas; located among the beautiful, rolling hills in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is one of the oldest communities in Mason County. It was also a stage stop between San Antonio and Fort Concho.
