This property is located near Thomaston in Marengo Co. AL. It is one of the most desired hunting areas in Alabama. This 400 +/- acres has two parcels. One parcel is 20 +/- acres. There is a nice camp with a nice back porch and 2 car carport. The camp overlooks a 3 acre of green field. During hunting season you can sit on the back porch and see lots of deer and turkeys. The camp is on paved Meadowlark Rd. The other parcel is located 1,000 yards north from the camp. It takes 2 minutes to get to the 380 +/- acre parcel located on Meadowlark Rd, but it is a dirt road that dead ends so there is no through traffic of that road. The 380 acres has mainly 28 to 30 year old pine plantation with some little younger pine plantation that has been thinned. You can see in the pictures that the strand of timber is beautiful. There are also some large hardwoods that run through the property. This property has 7 green fields on it. Also there is a brand new 40 x 60 equipment shed on the property. The hunting is off the charts good. There are a lot of nice deer on the property, also some hogs. The turkey hunting is excellent. I personally have turkey hunted this property several times and every time I went I would hear at least 6 to 8 turkeys gobble, as many as 12 to 15 turkey gobble in the mornings.
