The tract has an area of about 22 acres of fully stocked 6 year old pine plantation averaging between 15 and 20 feet tall. The remaining area is a creek-bottom along Horsehead Creek with grasses, hardwood sprouts and some scattered hardwood pulpwood. The east side of Horsehead Creek was interplanted with cherrybark oak in 2009. This combination of upland pine and lower creek-bottom creates an ideal remote hunting opportunity and the pine plantation provides a great long term timber investment. The topography of the tract is gently rolling with about half being Bowie fine sandy loam in the upland areas and the other half being Bibb fine sandy loam along the creek.
