Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. has been authorized to manage the sale of 399 acres, more or less, located in Hempstead County, Arkansas. The property is being sold by sealed bid sale on Friday, May 15, 2015. Offers may be submitted for Land Only, Timber Only, or Land and Timber Combined. If the Land is sold separately from the Timber, the timber buyer will have a 24 month period in which to harvest the timber.
Tract Description: The tract is located about six (6) miles southwest of Hope near the Spring Hill Community and is described as;

The property is best accessed from Hempstead County Road 36 (Battlefield Loop Road) which runs east and west through the tract and off Hempstead County Road 163 which runs north and south on the west side of the property. Maps are provided to aid in locating the tract.
Location and Property Descriptions: The land to be sold generally consists of approximately 378 acres of commercial timberland of which; +/-308 acres is large natural pine sawtimber, +/-17 acres is 1999 unthinned pine plantation, and +/- 53 acres is 2014 loblolly pine plantation. There are also approximately 21 acres of non-productive land to be sold of which; +/- 5 acres is county road right-of-ways and +/-16 acres are transmission power line right-of-way.
The transmission powerline that passes through the south portion of the property offers excellent opportunities as a wildlife opening and/or a shooting lane for hunting. This property is located one half miles northeast of Bois DArc Creek Wildlife Management Area and approximately one and one quarter (1) mile north of Bois DArc Lake public boat landing. The tract is an excellent timberland investment with hunting and recreation opportunities.
Timber Inventory: The timber inventory was estimated by Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. in April of 2015 (216, 10 BAF, point samples or one point per 1 acres, were taken on cruise lines running north and south).
