This is a very nice parcel with a prime building location in its northeastern corner and just two miles outside the City of Ashland. Three large ponds have been created in a federal wetland program for ducks, geese, and swans. The day I took the photographs, the ponds were lively with waterfowl including four pairs of swans. Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior being just a couple of miles north of the property is an excellent fishery, has very nice beaches, and is the gateway to the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.
