Once on the Platte River, it is a pleasant float down to Guernsey Reservoir and Guernsey State Park. The town of Guernsey is only six miles from the ranch and provides all the modern conveniences of a small western town including banking, groceries, fuel, cafes, bars, and overnight accommodations.
