It would be difficult to find a more versatile and beautiful property to build a country home on than this one. When first approaching this property its location and easy access to the highway made us realize how close it was to the metro KC area, making it very convenient to live here. The white fencing as we drove up made us think of a Kentucky horse farm. The winding driveway, and round decorated island in front of the large workshop were obvious indications of a well taken care of property.
From the location of the workshop you could see west overlooking a well groomed brome pasture that is flanked by deep wooded ravines. To the north a pond, (which could be expanded) looked more like an English garden pond, than a Kansas pasture pond. The area around the 2,000 sf. Workshop was well groomed and it was not hard to imagine watching large herds of deer and flocks of turkey that inhabit this area. In fact pictures of turkey that come into the parking area, and the numerous deer scrapes showed just how abundant wildlife is in this area.
A drive, yes a drive into the heavy woods, because the owner has carefully trimmed trees so that you can drive into this gorgeous area, puts you at a parking spot complete with picnic table, overlooking the confluence of two ravines. With the leaves still not on the trees the scenery was breathtaking. Later the owner took me on walking, and riding trails through the timber, into the ravine, along an old rock wall, and across wet weather streams, that made it easy to imagine how easy it would be to not only own, but enjoy this extraordinary property. Seller will leave tractors and mowing equipment.
