The Metcalf Farm is ideal for rice, corn or soybean production. This farm is located south of Chaffee, MO, in a very stable and popular area on the northern edge of the Little River drainage district, which is the largest private drainage district in the world. There are many good farmers in this area that are well financed and well equipped to operate this farm. There is plenty of water for irrigation in this area since one of the largest aquifers in the country lies under southeast Missouri. The farm is comprised entirely of Sharkey silty clay with 3 irrigation wells.
Approximately 12 miles southwest of Cape Girardeau and 20 miles northwest of Sikeston, Missouri. The farm can be easily assessed on County Road 262.
