Located four miles west of Lafayette on very scenic County Road 48, and directly adjacent to Lafayette Reservoir. This tree farm is a nice mosaic of planted pine, hardwood, and high-quality food plots. Some of the high knobs provide a nice overlook of the lake. The genetically-improved planted pine includes ±121 acres of pre-merchantable pine, ±68 acres of mid-rotation pine and ±45 acres of mature pine, capable of providing some timber income every 5 to 10 years. Finley Creek is a bold creek coming out of the Lafayette Reservoir which runs about a mile along the southwest boundary where it runs into Mill Creek. Mill Creek runs along most of the northern boundary. Several smaller tributaries and adjacent ridges provide good pond and building sites. An industrial well-graveled road system provide good access and timber removal capability throughout the tract.
