Grigsby Farm consist of 4 40500 broiler houses built from 1997 to 2003, a 4 Bd. / 4 Ba. home with large bonus room and 32 +/- acres. Located on Sand Mountain in the heart of Northeast Alabama. The farm is contracted with Koch Foods Gadsden Complex growing 4lb bird with an average of a 31 day grow out. The poultry houses had all new electrical in 2013, new generator in 2013, and ceiling insulation was blown new in 2010. There is a drystack with composter and also incinerator for dead bird disposal. Each house is equipped with Chore-time Feeders, Ziggity Waters, L.B. White Brooders in the fronts which are fairly new, and Rotem Controllers. There is about 4 acres currently use for hay and another 7 or 8 acres cleared that could be used for pasture, the remaining land is mostly wooded.

The owner is selling the farm AS/IS, there are updates that will have to be done by the buyer to bring the farm to top pay. The owner is currently working with the integrator to put together a list of updates that will be required by Koch Foods for a new owner.
Included in the sale will be a John Deere 5420 with loader, tiller, rake, bush hog, blade and cruster.
