Grigsby Farm consist of 4 40500 broiler houses built from 1997 to 2003, a 4 Bd. / 4 Ba. home with large bonus room and 32 +/- acres. Located on Sand Mountain in the heart of Northeast Alabama. The farm is contracted with Koch Foods Gadsden Complex growing 4lb bird with an average of a 31 day grow out. The poultry houses had all new electrical in 2013, new generator in 2013, and ceiling insulation was blown new in 2010. There is a drystack with composter and also incinerator for dead bird disposal. Each house is equipped with Chore-time Feeders, Ziggity Waters, L.B. White Brooders in the fronts which are fairly new, and Rotem Controllers. The dwelling house is about 3500 square feet with al nice size rooms. There is about 4 acres currently use for hay and another 7 or 8 acres cleared that could be used for pasture, the remaining land is mostly wooded.
