Travel 221 toward Bedford, until you come to the intersection of Perrowville Rd and 221. You will see a large complex of stores on your right, including Food Lion, etc. At this point, it is best to set your trip odometer to 0. All mileages given are from this point.

When your odometer reads about 5.7 miles, you will take Charlemont Rd (638) to your right. By this time you will feel like you are in the country. At 9.6 miles take a right onto the graveled Sweet Hollow Rd (Rt 615). Our drive is exactly 1 mile from this turn to the right. When coming from Forest, if you see gravel Oslin Creek Road on your left or paved Penn's Mill Road on your right, you have gone too far.
From Boonsboro/Rivermont area of Lynchburg:
Get on 501 North toward Big Island and the Parkway. Turn left on Coffee Road, just before you get to Mitchell’s store on your left. Continue on Coffee Rd for several miles. It is a very winding several miles. Eventually you will pass Perrowville Road on your left. At this point, zero your trip odometer. You will now be on Coffee Rd/Old Cifax Rd. (Rt 644).Cross the small bridge through Perrowville (a mere wide place in the road!). Continue on Old Cifax Rd (Rt 644).
