The property consists of 319 acres more or less with 221.4 acres enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program at a rate of $39.33 per acre through September 30, 2008. A new CRP contract is in place on 221.3 acres for an additional ten years at a rate of $39.37 per acre, however, it is the thought that the land could be taken out of the program for a minimal penalty prior to the first CRP payment being paid in 2009 on the new contract (this is subject to change with a new Farm Bill).
