There are six irrigation wells all equipped with electric submersible motors, pumps and control panels. Two quarter mile center pivot systems are a 1990s Reinke and a 1990s Raincat, both with 60 nozzle spacing. Each pivot has a half circle of alfalfa that is four years old. The pivots are nozzled at 275 GPM each and are supplied by 3 wells per pivot. The owner states that at 275 GPM the wells will sustain that production at pressure throughout the growing season.
The north set of pens are comprised of 2 pens with approximately 200 feet of bunk space with a caliche apron. The south set of pens has 350 feet of bunk spread over 6 pens with a caliche apron. There is a 3 bay commodity barn with a concrete floor and thick rubber walls and an adjacent area to pile silage. Additionally the yard has a covered cattle working area, a barn/shop and two dry feed bins.
The half section is perimeter fenced with 5 strand barbed wire and each circle has 5 strand fence as well. The corners have been planted to grass and are used as traps with stock water available in each corner and each circle. Fencing allow for lanes between the corners so cattle are easily moved around the property as needed. This is a nice versatile property that is well suited for a cattle operation or can just as easily be a row crop farm.
