One of the outstanding features of the ranch is the breathtaking view from the rim of Wendover Canyon which overlooks the world-class trout-fishing waters of the North Platte River as it tumbles through the 350 foot canyon walls. Peregrine falcons make their home along the walls of Little Cottonwood Creek Canyon which also provided shelter for the Oregon Trail Pioneers who left their names on the walls. Listen to the elk bugle during the September evenings while casting to rising trophy rainbows and browns along approximately four miles of the North Platte River that flows through the ranch. The resident elk and deer herds have been managed for trophy hunting since 2001 with wildlife conversation improvements and selective hunting. Historically, the largest horns harvested are mule deer that score in the 170’s and elk in the 390’s as well as good whitetail and a few antelope. Waterfowl and turkeys are abundant and have been protected by the ranch for the past ten years. The carrying capacity of the ranch is approximately 200 cow/calf pairs year-round. Price: $5,900,000
