Established in 1885, the Robinson Ranch grounds feature two vintage rock houses, both equally charming and rustic. The one-story, old homestead was built in the 1880s by the Robinson Family. A more recent home is the commanding 2-story rock home built in the 1930s and is near the main springs. Both display prevalent historic style in the Hill Country, with design elements favoring those of European settlers to the area. The 2-story home has a formal living room featuring a fireplace, formal dining room, small kitchen and two bedrooms. The ranch perimeter is low fenced. The north pasture has new fencing on the east side and halfway down the south side. Water: A highlight of the ranch is the incredible, year-around Cypress Creek traverses the ranch. There is over 2.5+/- miles of crystal clear water plus springs that are still flowing despite dry times. This truly gorgeous and unique creek has parts that resemble the Pedernales River and other areas are reminiscent of the Guadalupe River with large cypress trees lining both sides. There are 6 water wells; three with windmills, three with submersible pumps. Wildlife: This ranch has an abundance of native wildlife including whitetail deer, turkey, hogs, dove, many species of birds and other small animals. The year around water attracts a large number of wildlife.
