Located in the foothills of North Carolina, this incredible 30 acre farm is the ideal environment for these prestigious horses or your own prestigious horses, cattle or show dogs. The hardi-board & cinder block eight stall barn has been updated and renovated to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the Caisson Team. $100,000 was donated to ensure the project was done correctly. Many extra features were incorporated, including a concrete 30x30 wash stall with hot & cold water, tongue & groove pine and cedar walls, florescent lighting, framing and rafters that have been treated and painted with flame retardant Sherwin Williams product, tack room, feed room, half bath and heated office. It may be hard to get the handi-person out of the barn since the office is so comfortable and a workshop is available for a variety of endeavors. Industrial temperature controlled fans and large sliding end doors provides the cross breezes necessary to keep your livestock cool in the hot summer months or warm in the winter. Most of the stalls have hay racks, insulated water troughs and stall mats. If more stalls are needed there is room for 3 or 4 more or fence off a section for the smaller farm animals. Gently rolling pastures include two large pastures, fenced in four and five strand rubber coated high tensil fencing, one paddock and hay fields. The 100 of run-in shed on the back of the barn allows animals to get out of the weather and gives the owners peace of mind when bad weather is unexpected and animals arent brought into the barn. The four bay hay barn built in 2011 has plenty of room for farm equipment and hay bales cut from the fields.
This is the perfect property for those wanting to claim their own self-sustaining property and grow their own produce and raise their own livestock. In addition to 5 or so acres of mature woods waiting for trails, there are 29 incredible large Oak Trees providing shade and great views from the charming brick ranch home and patio. Those with extended families have room to build additional homes in strategic locations or can utilize the large bedroom/rec room with private entrance and full bath as an in-law suite. The home has been lovingly updated and maintained. The brick gas fireplace graces the living room and can be enjoyed from the dining area and kitchen. A center island in the kitchen, custom oak cabinets, 3 year new appliances including a Bosch dishwasher can accommodate most any chef. The French door in the kitchen opens to the 20x45 raised concrete patio and overlooks the barn, Oak Trees and pastures. While the new septic system is for two bedrooms, there are up to three bedrooms, if you choose to utilize the addition of the in-law/rec room. Enjoy morning coffee in the sunroom or create your own atrium. The manicured landscaping is carried through to the immaculate, warm and inviting home. Where else can you find this much productive, beautiful land, move in ready home and a barn built for your private horses and livestock or boarding and training business at such an affordable price? When not enjoying the animals and property, go make your fortune at the Hiddenite Emerald Hollow Mines!
