Free Stall Barn: Post and beam, 100 x 300 x 14, 400 free stalls in 4 groups of 100 stalls. 6 row barn with center alley feeding. Approximately half of the bunk space on the feed alley has locking head gates. Stalls have sand bedding and are deep bedded with manure solids. Barn is not insulated and is connected to the holding area of the milking center. Manure is scraped to the center of the barn where there is a reception pit with slotted floor and is then pumped to the digester, from there the effluent is pumped to a covered earthen lagoon. The sidewalls are 14 curtains. Barn was built in 1997. New fans and a sprinkler system were added in 2000.

Milking center is 37 x 128 12 and includes the holding area, and a double 17 parallel milking parlor with ceramic tile wall. An addition 18 x 32 houses the milk room and utility room. A second addition 18 x 28 has office, break room, shower and rest rooms. The Milking Center is insulated and heated, except for the holding area which has curtain sidewalls.
Special needs barn 60 x 88 built in 1998, perpendicular to the parlor/holding area. Remodeled in 2001 and 60 x 108 x 12 dry cow barn was added. Currently 86 free stalls in this area and several maternity pens, sick, pens and vet area, transfer alleys and gates, sand bedding in the free stalls, full curtain sidewalls.
Dairy equipment includes Boumatic Xpressway double 17 rapid exit parallel parlor, includes all milking equipment, ATOs cow ID system, plate cooler, chiller, auto wash, vac pumps, etc. A load out bay, with room for 3 tanker trucks to dock, tankers are used as bulk tanks. Includes three 25 ton bulk bins for feed, a 50 ton semi-truck scale. Gen-Set generator.
Manure System consists of a plug flow anaerobic digester entirely under the ground surface. The digester has concrete walls, floor and top and then covered with earth. Digester has heat pipes along the walls to speed the digestive process to 21 days and holds 800,000 gallons of manure. The effluent exits the digester and run through a Fan screw press to separate solids. The effluent is then pumped to the three manure lagoons, each lined with 4 clay sidewalls and 3 clay bottoms. The first lagoon has a 3.4 million gallon capacity, the second has a 2.2 million gallon capacity and the third has 1.2 million gallon capacity. Each are plastic lined and have 2 lagoon covers, gas collection systems, collected methane gas is flared off.
Manure solids building 36 x 128 pole type building with curtain sidewalls houses the screw press and collected digested manure solids. Concrete floor, insulated.
House is 1 story, air conditioned, farm house. Kitchen has newer cabinets and a vinyl floor, main floor has 2 bedrooms and a bath. Upper floor has 3 bedrooms and an older full bath. There is also a 4 season front porch with a hot tub.
